Whole Pathway Scope (WPS)

Overview:

A comprehensive pathway-based microarray analysis tool was developed to complement clustering algorithms for the analysis of microarray expression data. This program, named WholePathwayScope (WPS), simultaneously compares expression data from multiple microarray datasets within a biological context. The program can be used to examine the effects of experimental perturbations on expression patterns of genes within a biological pathway using: 1) duplicate datasets to test for consistency between experiments, 2) different tissues within the same animals, 3) multiple experimental time-points, and 4) datasets derived from different model systems. WPS provides a platform to integrate the unbiased insight provided by clustering analysis and the biological input from a pathway-based system. This method of analysis maximizes the information obtained from microarray data.

How to Get a Copy of the WPS Program:
  1. Please complete the registration form. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email.
  2. Download the Software Beta-Test Licensing Agreement and fax the completed form to Ms. Shawn Cohenour, Director of Office Contract Management, at (214) 648-0845. You must register in order to download the Software Beta-Test Licensing Agreement. If there are any questions regarding the approval of the Licensing Agreement, contact Ms. Cohenour at (214) 648-4335 or by email at Shawn.Cohenour@UTSouthwestern.edu.
  3. After we have received the completed Licensing Agreement, an email with a user name and password will be issued. This will provide access to the Application Download section.
  4. Download the appropriate Whole Pathway Scope installation, database(s), PSCP files, and/or WSCP files. If you would prefer to receive these files on CD, please contact Ming Yi, Ph.D or call (214) 648-5505.
  5. Install the program for Window 98/2000/XP following the instructions in the README file.

Please report any discovered program bugs to Ming Yi, Ph.D.
